About the Cluster
The Cluster of Excellence 2180 "Image-guided and Functionally Instructed Tumor Therapies" (iFIT) is the only oncology cluster of excellence in Germany. At the beginning of 2026 iFIT entered its second funding phase after its initial founding January, 2019.
At the iFIT Cluster of Excellence internationally renowned scientists and talented young researchers work together in this consortium in a globally unique collaboration of three different research areas here in Tuebingen to shape the future of cancer research.
